    Description

    Offered in this auction is Volume II, No 3 issue of James Vick’s Illustrated Monthly Magazine; from May, 1879. The spine shows just a touch of thumbing. The pages and text block and chromo lithographic plate are securely fastened to the spine. There is a light water stain on a few pages which does not affect the text or illustrations. The magazine is 140 plus years old and it is not perfect.
    But the copy has been carefully preserved during its lifetime. The cover has a couple flea bites on
    the top border with a tiny split. The plate is well protected by the inter-leave and is perfect. The
    most particular bibliophile or collector will be pleased with this original specimen!
