    Description

    Vintage KELLER THE ART MAN (Clyde Leon Keller) Curved Wood Framed & Glass Covered OVAL HANDLED VANITY TRAY that measures 14 3/4" x 12 1/2".  Crocheted Cupid or Mandolin-Playing Winged Angel lies under the Tray's Glass.  We see one very small discolored spot at bend in Cupid's elbow as highlighted in the last photo.  Felt backing shows some wear as shown in photo 4.
    Clyde Leon Keller (1872-1962) worked for many years as an artist for the San Francisco Examiner.  Following the loss of many of his Works in the Earthquake & Fire of 1906, he returned to Oregon, his birthplace, where he established an art store in Portland and became known as "Keller The Art Man".
