Condition is Awesome with no breaks, cracks, chips or repairs. The only defects are a few little small scratches, that do nothing to take away from the beauty of this piece, and considering the age, and what it's built for, I'd rate this as a true gem of a find. You won't be disappointed. I wish the pictures were better, but who knew taking photos of a mirror would be so hard? :) If you'd like to see anything specific, I'll take your request and try my best to accommodate. The photos really don't do justice to this piece. It is truly an amazing work of art.

The etching is done of the reverse of the glass, then laid over the mirror, and held together using hardware screwed into the reverse of the gold handles. The base is wood, so as to be less marring on your furniture than the mirror itself. The Italians really put some class and style into this one.
