    Rare Early APPL Hybrid Seed Co. St. Joseph Illinois Mirrored Thermometer. This is a cool old farm collectible. It is a painted mirror with a windows identifying the Appl Company and location, a “bloom” and the Phrase “The APPL of my eye.” It measures 8” by 3”. It has the original tassel and the emblem of the distributor, AD-NOV-CO Newton, Iowa. It is in nice overall condition for something this hard to find.
