Here for sale is a brand new S.T. Dupont Tournaire Architectural Masterpieces: Washington Capital that has never been used and has been hidden away in our vault until now. It is our pleasure to offer this rare opportunity to obtain these unique creations and add it to your collection for a great price.
Images show the actual state of the pen. This pen has never been polished! Collectors prefer to have the pen in its natural patina form, for it adds authenticity to the architectural sculpture.
Crafted from solid silver. This pen comes with an 18k gold medium sized nib.
About the Pen
Fashioned from Argentium sterling silver, each pen & base take shape in the hands of the artist. It is chased, engraved, polished by hands. Argentium sterling silver is the most tarnish resistant silver available today. The column engraving is inspired by the friezes that decorate the building in Paris at the end of the French 17th century. The inside stairs engraved with S.T.Dupont by Tournaire are in silver with a rhodium finishes. S.T.Dupont brand is engraved on the top of the pen under the dome and on the base. Fountain pen with Olympio XL 18 carats solid gold nib with rhodium decoration. The Capitole dome is in white 18 KT solid gold (5,1 grams on average).
The obelisk inside the Capitole dome is in silver with a rhodium finishes. The pyramid on the top is in solid yellow gold. Washington -Capitole Tournaire goldsmith & solid gold hallmarks on the dome Sterling silver hallmarks on the cap of the pen.
