Vtg JB Brass & Glass Vanity Perfume Tray Doily Lace Between Glass French Ribbon

Beautiful old vintage round footed vanity perfume / jewelry display tray. It is gilt brass with patina. The handles are in the French ribbon bow form. The doily may be new but it is easy to remove and replace with a fine piece of lace to your liking or a lovely old photo. A brass ring sits on top and the doily is sandwiched between 2 pieces of glass. The tray measures approximately 8" handle to handle and is 6" in diameter. All original feet remain.The top shows the patina as the bottom still retains some of the gilding. It is signed JB for E & JB Empire Art Inc.,NYC.  E & J Bass produced plated wares from the 1890's-1930. They went out of business due to the Great Depression. This is a lovely tray for any perfume collection or jewelry display. This brass vanity tray in good condition except that a piece of one handle has broken off. Still a beautiful Early 20th Century era piece. All components are in remarkable condition for the age. The glass is free of chips or cracks and the lace does not have discoloration, rips, or tears.
